Mrs. Sharmin Nasir was born into a well-known Muslim family in 1983. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Welfare from Govt. Girls College, Barishal. Following her passion for the insurance industry, she invested in Meghna Life Insurance PLC and Karnaphuli Insurance PLC.

Today, she holds significant positions as a Board Member of Meghna Life Insurance PLC and a Director of Karnaphuli Insurance PLC. She is also a shareholder in Meghna Life Securities and Investment Limited.

Mrs. Nasir’s business interests have taken her to various countries, including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and the UK, where she has gained valuable experience and expanded her professional network.

In addition to her business roles, she is actively involved in social and cultural activities and supports various welfare organizations. Her involvement in both business and social causes showcases her dedication to improving her industry and community.
